Hi i am Dr Ahmed Aly
thanks for using HealthcareMagic site ,
I had gone through your question and understand your concerns ..
I recommend
MRI for proper evaluation and management , i do not think it is a
tumor as spinal tumors are very rare conditions.
Tumors tend to increase in size so if it is not i think it will be easily excision or removed or even may not need any surgical intervention .
I think you may take your MRI result reports and follow them up with your
neurologist for proper evaluation and management and you will be fine
Physiotherapy sessions , hot massages with topical gels of anti-inflammatory , spinal straightening exercises .Try avoiding heavy weight , over weighing , vigorous movements , bad sleeping and sitting postures will be very helpful .
For my patients i may suggest painkillers like
advil tab when needed , topical gels , muscle relaxants , B12 vitamin supplements will be effective for most of cases .
steroid tabs or injections are prescribed for more severe cases
